Inspired by Nature’s Calm
Lettering Illustrated Headline
Inspired by Nature's Calm was an academic project where the goal was to create an illustration inspired by a company or brand's values that align with personal ones and then place it in a magazine's article by designing the layout and using the same assessment's content as the copy of the above. I chose Zorali, an Australian brand that I find very inspiring, and used one of its values to create a lettering-art piece.
For the creation of my illustration, I used a combination of manual and digital techniques. I like to start by sketching on paper with a pencil the ideas and concepts I have in mind for the piece. This technique gives me the opportunity to represent my ideas in a free and calm way, since being a sketching stage, I can try different approaches without caring about the permanence of the result. However, once I have decided on the design of the piece, I scan my final sketch and start to develop it in a digital space.
